GSD's expanded powder coating capabilities

For the past three years, GrandStand Designs has focused on producing high quality, custom powder coating work. I worked alone from a small shop doing mostly wholesale powder coating work for motorcycle and automobile boutiques. I relied on one 4 ft by 6 ft oven to do all my work.

Things are changing rapidly as the business expands to meet current demands. Bryan Petersen, from Untouchable Customs, will be lending a helping hand often at the new shop. And I definitely can use the help. The new GSD shop will feature 4 ovens dedicated to powder coating. There are 2 4 ft by 6 ft ovens, a 2 ft by 2 ft bench top oven and a brand new Powder X 8ft by 15 ft oven to do the bulk of the work.

It is my goal to run a larger batch job shop that can stay focused on the high quality custom market without being overwhelmed by larger scale industrial work. I believe our new equipment, personnel and shop space will allow me to do this without sacrificing turnaround time.
