Abrasive Blasting

Abrasive blasting is the backbone of any good cosmetic finish. No matter how good a paint job or powder coat application is, the finish will never last if the base material isn't properly prepared. Here at GSD, we believe in doing all the prep work in house. This has led to the investment in several different types of abrasive blasting materials.

We have available:

* Aluminum oxide blasting (70 grit) in a dedicated blast room that is 10 ft wide x 8 ft tall x 16 ft deep.

* Soda blasting for delicate parts.

* Glass bead blasting cabinet for general cleaning and etching.

Our facility is equiped with a forklift that can move heavier parts in and out of the blasting room. We are capable of doing industrial work, automobile chassis and decorative work.
